Temi Otedola, the Nigerian actress, has made her runway debut at the L’Oréal Paris Défilé fashion show at the Opera House in Paris, France.

In June, Temi was unveiled as the African digital brand ambassador for the French multinational skincare company.

L’Oréal Paris described the partnership as “iconic”. It also added Temi to its league of ambassadors like Kendall Jenner, the American model, and Viola Davis, the US actress.

Others are Eva Longoria, Aishwarya Rai, Cara Delevingne, Andie MacDowell, Heidi Klum, and Alia Bhat

Clad in a striking, balloon-like corset-fitted red dress, the actress majestically walked the runway with a smile. She stopped halfway and rubbed her lips with red lipstick made by L’Oréal.

Celebrating the milestone via Instagram, the actress said it’s an honour to showcase the beauty of an African woman to the world.

“Still can’t believe I walked the @lorealparis Défilé Show. Walking alongside so many women who inspire me was a dream come true!!! As L’Oréal’s Digital African Ambassador it’s an honour to show the beauty of being an African Woman to the world,” Temi wrote.

“Thank you @lorealparis and your amazing team for this unforgettable night. I’ll never forget my first ever runway moment.”

Founded in the mid-1900s, L’Oréal Paris aims to empower women with initiatives promoting equal rights and self-esteem.

The feat for Temi comes a few days after Florence ‘DJ Cuppy’ Otedola, her sister, also made history after hosting an opening session at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

The sisters are children of Femi Otedola, the billionaire businessman.
