The Mahindra Bolero, known for its sturdy build and off-road prowess, has long been a popular choice in rural and semi-urban areas. Its performance in these extreme conditions has led many to laud the vehicle’s reliability and strength. The devastating floods in Kerala have caused widespread damage, displacing thousands and leading to significant loss of life and property.

Before the debut of new-gen SUVs such as the current-gen Thar, XUV700, and Scorpio N, the Bolero was Mahindra’s primary revenue generator. This rugged, ladder-on-frame SUV continues to sell around 7,000-8,000 units monthly, including the Bolero Neo, accounting for approximately 20 percent of Mahindra’s total passenger vehicle sales.
