Vietnamese Automaker Vinfast is all set to make its debut at the Bharat Mobility Expo. The expo will be held between January 17 and 22, 2025 in Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. In the upcoming edition, the Expo will also incorporate the renowned Auto Expo. Ahead of its official debut, the company has now officially confirmed that it will showcase the VF 3 compact electric SUV, the VF 9 three-row SUV and also VF Wild electric pickup concept and a few other electric SUVs. Interestingly, the company also confirmed that it will showcase electric two-wheelers at the expo.
Vinfast VF 3
The Vinfast VF 3 is mini electric SUV measuring 3,190mm in length, 1,679mm in width, stands 1,622mm tall and has a 2,075mm long wheelbase. The VF 3 gets rear-mounted electric motor that delivers 43.5hp and 110Nm of torque. Vinfast claims it can accelerate from 0 to 50kph in 5.3 seconds. The motor is paired with a 18.64kWh lithium-ion battery, offering a claimed range of 210km per charge. With a fast charger, the battery can be charged from 10 to 70 percent in just 36 minutes.
VinFast VF7 and VF9
The next set of cars are VinFast VF7, VF9 electric SUVs. The VinFast VF7 is a compact 5-seater SUV available offered in two variants abroad – Eco and Plus. The Eco gets a single electric motor with 201 BHP and 310 Nm of torque, while the Plus variant features dual electric motors producing a combined output of 349 BHP and 500 Nm. Both variants comes paired to a 75.3 kWh battery. The Eco model offers a range of 450 km, whereas the Plus variant has a range of 431 km, as per the WLTP cycle.
The VinFast VF9 is a larger SUV with three rows of seating and It also comes in Eco and Plus trims, both utilizing huge 123 kWh battery. The Eco trim provides a range of 531 km, while the Plus trim achieves 468 km (both claimed). Both VF9 variants feature dual electric motors generating 396 BHP and 620 Nm of torque. VinFast claims the VF9 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.63 seconds, with a top speed of 200 km/h.
Vinfast VF Wild
The Vinfast VF Wild concept was first showcased at the CES 2024. VinFast says that the name ‘Wild’ symbolizes ‘the force of nature’ and reflects the brand’s dedication to promoting a sustainable and eco-friendly future for all. The VF Wild concept was collaboratively designed by VinFast and the Australian design firm GoMotiv. The pick-up measures 5324mm in length 1997mmin width and features a power-folding mid-gate that extends the bed length from 5 feet to 8 feet when the rear seats are automatically folded down, giving it the largest bed in its class. Few highlights include a flexible bed, a panoramic glass roof and digital side mirrors.
