One of the managers whose job is not secured in the Premier League is Manchester United’s manager, Erik Ten Hag who has been under the spotlight since the beginning of the 2024/25 season.

There have been reports that the board members at Manchester United are looking at terminating Erik Ten Hag’s contract after his team failed to secure a win in their last five games across all competitions.

Senior Manchester United officials, which include the likes of Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Dan Ashworth, attended a meeting at Ratcliffe’s Knightsbridge offices in London that lasted for around six hours on Tuesday, October 7, 2024. These members were all available for the Premier League game against Aston Villa at Villa Park on Sunday, October 6, 2024.

The club have remained silent on the outcome of the meeting despite the unrest among the Red Devils supporters. However, Manchester United are keeping their options open, with former Bayern Munich boss Thomas Tuchel understood to be under consideration as a perfect replacement should Ten Hag be sacked.
