From a young age, Perfection Ambrose’s love for music became evident. At 15 years old, the artiste who stages as Tyson Perfect, began showcasing his musical talent by playing drum in his church.
The Bayelsa State-born artiste credits his mother, a music enthusiast, for playing a significant role in his career. She introduced him to the children’s church choir, where his musical journey took flight. Inspired by his early experiences, Tyson Perfect’s passion for music grew more assertive.
In 2015, He embarked on his music-making journey, officially entering the industry in 2018. Since then, he has made appearances at various shows and events.
On April 13, 2023, he released a 7-track EP, “Emotions,” in addition to his previous singles.
The turning point came when he created his own beat, using his cousin’s laptop. Encouraged by his newfound talent, he went on to write his first song. During an event, Tyson Perfect faced stage fright but managed to captivate the audience with his chorus, earning a standing ovation and fueling his determination to pursue music.
His performances at Meak and South-South Media Week have garnered attention. He attributes much of his motivation to Inimeya Isaiah, who played a pivotal role in shaping his musical career.
