TVS Raider iGo launched: Price, upgrades, iGo Assist tech explained

TVS Motor Company has launched a new variant for its popular commuter motorcycle, the Raider. Dubbed the Raider iGo, this new variant brings a host of upgrades in terms of features and performance. The Raider iGo commemorates the one million sales milestone for the brand. Here, let’s take a look at what’s on offer.

TVS Raider iGo: What’s new

The TVS Raider iGo features a segment-first ‘boost mode,’ powered by iGO Assist technology.First introduced with the Jupiter 110, this technology temporarily boosts torque to a segment-leading 11.75 Nm. It also enables the bike to accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in just 5.8 seconds. Additionally, TVS claims this variant delivers 10 percent improved fuel efficiency.
Powering the Raider iGo is the same 125 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that makes 11 hp and 11.75 Nm of peak torque with the iGo Assist. This motor comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. Besides that, the variant can only be had in the Nardo Grey colour scheme with red alloys and features a refreshed reverse LCD Connected cluster with over 85 connected features with Bluetooth connectivity including voice-assist, turn-by-turn navigation and more.

The suspension setup remains unchanged, featuring a front telescopic fork and a rear monoshock, while braking is managed by a front disc and rear drum combination.

TVS Raider iGo: Prices

The TVS Raider iGo has been priced at Rs 98,389, ex-showroom, and has been slotted between the Split Seat and SSE trims. The Raider rivals the likes of Hero Xtreme 125R and the newly-launched Bajaj Pulsar N125.
