The electric scooter segment in India is heating up with two major players, Honda and Suzuki, entering the fray. Honda recently launched the much-awaited Activa e at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, while Suzuki has showcased its e-Access, which is expected to hit the market soon. Here’s a quick look at how these scooters stack up against each other in terms of battery, range, features and more.
Honda Activa e: vs e-Access: Battery, range and performance
The Honda Activa e is equipped with two swappable 1.5 kWh batteries, offering a range of 102 km on a full charge. On the other hand, the Suzuki e-Access comes with a fixed 3.07 kWh LFP battery. The upcoming Suzuki model will offer a riding range of 95 km per charge.
Speaking of performance, the Activa e: makes 6 kW of power and 22 Nm of torque, allowing it to achieve a top speed of 80 kmph. The scooter also features three riding modes: Econ, Standard, and Sport. In comparison, the Suzuki e-Access features a slightly less powerful motor, delivering 4.1 kW of power and 15 Nm of torque, with a top speed of 71 kmph. Like its Honda counterpart, the e-Access will also offer three riding modes.
Honda Activa e: vs e-Access: Features
Honda has packed the Activa e with a host of features, including an all-LED lighting setup, a 5-inch TFT display for the standard variant, and a more advanced 7-inch Android-based touchscreen on the premium RoadSync Duo trim. Other highlights include a reverse mode, auto-brightness adjustment, side-stand indicator, and a smart key system.
Suzuki’s e-Access, on the other hand, boasts a TFT cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, offering features such as turn-by-turn navigation, call and message notifications, and a USB charging port. Additionally, it includes a smart key with a lost alert function and a side-stand alert system.
