Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina has taken delivery of the all-new Kia Carnival Limousine, becoming the first owner of the next-generation luxury MPV in India. With an ex-showroom price of Rs 63.90 lakh, the new Carnival is a major upgrade over its predecessor, featuring a price hike of nearly Rs 30 lakh. What’s notable is that the Carnival Limousine has no direct rivals in the Indian market. With no direct rivals in its price range, the Carnival Limousine’s competitors include the more economical Toyota Innova HyCross and the ultra-luxurious Toyota Vellfire, priced over Rs 1.22 crore.
The former cricketer chose the Glacier White Pearl exterior, one of two available colours alongside Fusion Black. The new Carnival Limousine is powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine delivering 191 bhp and 441 Nm of torque. This power plant comes paired with an 8-speed AT that sends power to the front wheels. Designed as a seven-seater, the MPV offers luxury and convenience features for both the driver and passengers, including dual 12.3-inch displays, Bose premium audio, ventilated seats, connected car technology, and a range of ADAS features for enhanced safety.

Inside, the Carnival Limousine’s second row offers powered captain seats with heating, ventilation, and leg extension capabilities. Other highlights include electronically controlled sliding rear doors and more.
Safety features include eight airbags, four disc brakes, a 360-degree camera, tyre pressure monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and lane-keeping assist. Furthermore, it gets three-zone climate control, paddle shifters, and four drive modes: Eco, Normal, Sport, and Smart.
