The Stormers do not view themselves as favourites for Saturday’s URC coastal derby against the Sharks in Cape Town.

The Capetonians are on a high, having notched impressive back-to-back home victories over La Rochelle (21-20, Champions Cup) and the Bulls (26-20, URC).

In contrast, the Sharks have had a torrid season – they lie a lowly 15th on the URC table with only one win from seven outings and also lost their most recent Challenge Cup game 32-29 to the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein on 17 December.
