Despite being heavily implicated in corruption allegations in the State Capture Inquiry report, Papa Leshabane and Des van Rooyen scored lucrative board positions at Gauteng government agencies. 

Leshabane, a former Bosasa director, was appointed as part of a nine-member board at the Gauteng Tourism Authority. 

Van Rooyen, whose appointment as finance minister sent ripple effects through the financial markets, was appointed board member at the Gauteng Enterprise Propeller.
