When Craig Alexander, the North
West Dragons’ understated and underrated head coach, drew up his list of
recruits for the current domestic season, his candidates had to metaphorically
answer two questions.

“It was actually a pretty
simple process,” he told News24.

“I asked myself: Firstly,
do these players have the right character for us in terms of our style of
cricket? And, secondly, can they play for South Africa potentially?
