Real Madrid Football Club released an official statement on its website giving an update on the injury to Rodrygo Goes and Lucas Vazquez.
Real Madrid confirmed that both players will be out for at least one month which is a big blow to their quest to challenge for trophies this season. Rodrygo Goes and Lucas Vazquez had to be substituted in their emphatic victory over Osasuna on matchday 13 of La Liga.
Two different statements were released on Monday, November 11, via the official website of Real Madrid.
“Following tests carried out today by Real Madrid’s Medical Services on our player Lucas Vazquez, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the adductor longus of his left leg. His progress will be monitored.”
“Following tests carried out today by the Real Madrid Medical Services on our player Rodrygo, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the rectus abdominis muscle in his left leg. His progress will be monitored.”
Both players are added to the already seven players on the club’s injury list, which includes Carvajal, Alaba, Courtois, Tchouameni, Lucas Vazquez, Rodrygo, and Militao.
