Emotions ran high during the opening of the Anele Tembe Library at her former school, Durban Girls’ College (DGC), on Tuesday evening.
Tembe, affectionally known as “Nellie”, died in April 2021 after falling from the balcony of a hotel room at the Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town.
She had been staying at the hotel with her fiancé, rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes.
