Ludo, a leisure game played in most households all over the world, is making a thunderous entry into the Nigerian sporting profile as a money-spinning pastime.

For the first time in the history of the country, a Ludo championship will take place on December 14 in Lagos, with mouth-watering N2.5 million prize money at stake.

Put together by TRS Promotions, the competition will bring together Ludo enthusiasts from all corners of Lagos State and its environs to showcase their skills, strategies, and determination.

“It promises to be a thrilling event set to take the game of ludo to the next level,” Tunde Amosun, general manager of TRS, said.

The first-place winner will take home an incredible reward of N1m while second- and third-place winners receive N750,000 and N500,000, respectively.

The journey to becoming the Ludo champion starts with preliminary rounds running from November 1 to 30 across various local government areas in Lagos State.

The organisers have encouraged players to register early to secure their spots and prepare for the intense competition with a registration fee of N1,000.
