The Press Ombudsman has dismissed the Sunday Independent newspaper and Independent Online’s (IOL) application to appeal its finding in connection with an abusive opinion piece they published, which likened News24 legal journalist Karyn Maughan to Nazi film propagandist Leni Riefenstahl.
