AC Milan are willing to offload Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze this month as new manager Sergio Conceicao plans a winter revolution at the San Siro, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

According to Sportitalia via Sportmediaset on Monday, the Portuguese tactician would not oppose Chukwueze’s departure.

Despite being Milan’s most expensive signing in the summer of 2023, the Nigerian has failed to live up to expectations since his arrival from Villarreal.

The report suggests that Conceicao is furious with his squad’s performances in the Serie A this season and is demanding reinforcements, with Manchester City defender Kyle Walker expected to arrive as the club finalises details before submitting an offer.

Chukwueze could be among several players sacrificed to fund new arrivals, with Emerson Royal and Strahinja Pavlovic attracting interest from Turkey, while Noah Okafor has suitors in England.

The Rossoneri are also open to selling English midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who like Chukwueze, has struggled with both form and fitness during a disappointing campaign for the Italian giants.

Milan’s season has been largely forgettable despite occasional bright moments, with performances falling well below the club’s standards, prompting the management to consider significant changes during the January transfer window.

The club are also monitoring Chelsea forward Joao Felix, while another midfield addition remains possible as Conceicao looks to reshape his squad during the final days of the transfer window.

While no concrete offers have arrived for Chukwueze yet, his potential departure would mark a premature end to his Milan career after just 18 months at the San Siro.
