Mercedes-Benz India is all set to reveal the new Mercedes-Benz Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series in India on March 17, 2025. The two-door convertible luxury coupe made its international debut in August 2024 and is hailed as Maybach’s sportiest model ever. There are no details on when the brand will launch the Maybach SL 680 Monogram, it’s expected to be priced from over 4 crores (ex-showroom).
The Maybach SL 680 is based on the standard SL 63 Roadster. It enhances the aggressive styling of the standard model with signature Maybach design elements. It gets an illuminated vertical-slat sleek front grille with chrome accents everywhere. The Obsidian Black bonnet, adorned with Maybach logos, extends to the soft-top roof, while the rest of the car is finished in a striking Garnet Red shade.
At sides, the SL 680 gets Maybach-exclusive multi-spoke alloy wheels, and the black-finished wing mirrors at the rear, the bumper design is smoother and more sophisticated, incorporating chrome embellishments. Moving inside, the SL 680 has the same dashboard layout as the standard model, but here it gets dashboard and seats finished in white Nappa leather. It gets a satin silver finish on the AC vents, a new three-spoke steering wheel, and Maybach logos on the roll hoops.
Talking about the powertrain, it’s the same as the SL 63 but is tuned to produce more power. It gets a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 that puts out 585hp of power and 800Nm of torque. It comes paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission which sends power to all four wheels. It can sprint from 0 to 100kph in just 4.1 seconds.
