Here are the fixtures to be played by Man United, Spurs and other clubs in the round of 16 of the UEFA Europa League.
The top eight teams from the league phase secured direct qualification for the round of 16, while they are joined by the eight winners from the newly introduced two-legged knockout play-offs in the 2024/25 season.
Two of such clubs to have booked a spot in the round of 16 of the Europa League had been Man United and Tottenham alongside other clubs across different leagues.

Manchester United have been matched against Real Sociedad in the Europa League round of 16, while Tottenham Hotspur will face AZ Alkmaar.
United previously encountered the Spanish club in the 2022 Europa League group stage and also met them in the knockout rounds a year earlier, securing a 4-0 aggregate victory.
The winner of this clash will go on to face either Lyon or FCSB in the semi-finals.
Meanwhile, Amorim when asked about the fixture revealed, “I just want to win everything. I want to be really, really clear on that. I think we are in a difficult situation in the Premier League, we have a lot of issues to solve in every game. If you see our performances, if I focus on the games against Real Sociedad and think about trophies, it is not the right way to do my job in the moment. So I just focus and I want to win against [Saturday’s opponents] Everton.”
Who is Tottenham playing in the Europa League round of 16?
Tottenham Hotspur will face a familiar opponent in Dutch club AZ Alkmaar, having already met them earlier this season in the group stage, a match Spurs won 1-0.
The winner of this tie will advance to the semi-finals, where they will face either Ajax or Frankfurt.
When asked about the draw, Postecoglou revealed, “Europe’s always been at the forefront of our minds and we did really well and we saw how important it was that we did finish in the top eight, even finishing in the top four. It’s important, but [we are] not dismissive of the league either. There’s still 12-13 games to go and from our perspective we’re not happy with where we are.”
