A Nigerian man expresses his anger on social media after his sick sister passes away, claiming that Nigerian doctors discouraged him from taking her abroad for treatment and instead collected over ₦29 million from him.
In a lengthy post on X (formerly Twitter), he shared his grief and frustration. He revealed that he initially wanted to fly his sister to Israel for better treatment, but the doctors assured him they could handle the case.
He wrote, “I wanted to take my sister out of Nigeria to Israel for proper treatment, but these doctors pulled the husband aside and said they could handle it, no need to travel abroad. I did everything possible, but her husband trusted the doctors, and now she is dead.”
Reflecting on the substantial amount paid to the doctors, he added, “All the doctors who handled my sister collected over ₦29 million in just one year. I will go after every single one of them. If Nigeria doesn’t hold doctors accountable, I will start with these bastards. You can’t play with someone’s life.”
He went on to criticize the healthcare system, stating, “One day, we will expose the evil that Nigerian doctors commit—killing their patients for money. They don’t care about their well-being; they just exploit them for every penny they can get until they are dead. Then they move on to the next victim.”
