Liezel de Jager’s husband will have to spend Christmas behind bars after his murder case was postponed in the Amanzimtoti Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.

A Dutch Reformed pastor, Liezel, was found dead in the driveway of her home on the morning of 13 October 2021. She had strangulation marks on her neck.

Her husband, Werner de Jager, was arrested in Bloemfontein last month almost two years after his wife’s cruel death.
