The week-long festival often features a lineup of events like theatre shows, music, poetry, visual arts, installations, and film screenings.
Since its launch in 2018, Lagos Fringe has grown in the number of performances, participants, and audience engagement. Held annually in November, this year’s festival will also feature a lineup of films from across Africa and beyond.
The 28 selected films, from filmmakers in Nigeria, Kenya and diasporans in Canada, and the USA, along with submissions from the Film Lab Africa shorts and micro-shorts, will be screened over five days at Freedom Park, Lagos.
