Komaki, an electric vehicle manufacturer, has expanded its product lineup with the launch of the SE series electric scooters. The range includes three new models: SE Pro, SE Ultra, and SE Max. These EVs have been priced at Rs 67,999, Rs 76,999, and Rs 1.10 lakh, ex-showroom, respectively. These scooters are based on the MG Pro platform but come with a sportier design and updated features to stay competitive in the market.
Komaki SE Series: Battery and range
Each variant in the SE lineup is equipped with different battery configurations. The SE Pro comes with a 2.75 kW NAGR battery, offering a range of 110-120 km on a single charge. The SE Ultra, powered by a 2.7 kW LiPo4 battery, delivers a slightly higher range of 130-140 km. Meanwhile, the top-of-the-line SE Max boasts a 4.2 kW LiPo4 battery, providing a range of over 200 km. Komaki is also offering a 3-year warranty on the battery.
Riders can choose from three riding modes: Eco, Sport, and Turbo. Each mode is tailored to provide different levels of performance and efficiency.
Komaki SE Series: Design and features
The flagship SE Max stands out with its sharp and angular front apron, giving it a bold and aggressive stance. It features a TFT instrument cluster, while suspension duties are handled by front telescopic forks with gaiters and dual shock absorbers at the rear. The braking system consists of a front disc brake and a rear drum brake.
Both the SE Pro and SE Ultra variants come equipped with LED digital speedometers, disc brakes, and a top speed of 70 kmph.
Komaki has packed the SE series with several features. The scooters come with remote locking, an anti-theft system, USB charging ports, and a self-diagnosis feature that helps detect and troubleshoot issues. Bluetooth connectivity is also included, allowing riders to access call and message alerts, navigation, and music control directly from the scooter’s display.
