Kia Carnival and Kia EV6 lease prices revealed: Upto Rs 3 lakh per month!

Kia India recently revealed the prices for the new Kia Carnival luxury MPV and EV6 EV SUV. And now, the company has revealed the leasing prices of both models. The leasing rates for the Carnival start at Rs 1.49 lakh a month, and for the EV9, it’s Rs 3.00 lakh a month. The company also said that those looking to lease the car can choose tenures of 24, 36, 48, and 60 Months.They will also get mileage options of 10,000km, 15,000km, and 20,000km per annum.

We think Carnival’s lease option will benefit luxury fleet operators. Leasing typically requires lower upfront costs compared to purchasing, making it easier to manage cash flow also lease payments may be tax-deductible as a business expense, providing potential tax benefits. Talking about the pricing, the Carnival is priced at Rs 63.9 lakh, the EV9, on the other hand, is priced at Rs 1.3 crore, ex-showroom. The bookings for the MPV are already underway, interested customers can book it online or by visiting their nearest dealership.
The EV9 all-electric SUV is offered in a single fully-loaded GT-line AWD variant and is priced at Rs xx lakh (ex-showroom). The EV SUV will be bought in India via the CBU route. The EV9 is powered by a 99.8kWh battery pack paired with dual electric motors which combined puts out 384hp of power and 700Nm of peak torque. The EV SUV can sprint from 0-100kph in 5.3 seconds and has an ARAI-certified range of 561km on a single full charge. The battery can be charged up from 10-80 per cent in 24 minutes with a DC fast charger.

The EV9 features a dual-screen for the touchscreen infotainment system and instrument cluster. Features include an illuminated steering wheel, dual sunroofs, HUD display, second-row captain seats with electric adjustment, a massage function, a digital IRVM, a V2L, a 14-speaker Meridian audio system, a digital key, OTA updates, an electrically adjustable steering wheel, six USB Type-C charging ports, three-zone climate control, and much more. Safety-wise, the EV9 gets 10 airbags, ABS, ESC, downhill brake control, VSM, front, side and rear parking sensors, all-wheel disc brakes, 360-degree camera and Level 2 ADAS.

The Carnival is powered by a sole 2.2-litre, four-cylinder, CRDi turbocharged diesel engine with 193hp of power and 441Nm of torque. Compared to the previous gen, the torque is up by 1Nm and the power has gone down by 7hp. The engine comes paired with an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox which sends power to the front wheels.
In terms of features, the Carnival gets dual 12.3-inch curved displays for infotainment and instrument cluster, three-zone climate control, a head-up display, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, connected car tech, a 4-spoke steering wheel, dual electric sunroofs, second-row captain seats with heating and ventilation, a 12-way powered driver’s seat, powered tailgate, power sliding rear doors and much more.
