Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo has officially left Turkish Super Lig club Kasimpasa after terminating his contract by mutual consent.

The 31-year-old centre-back has endured a frustrating season, plagued by injuries that have limited him to just five appearances for the club.

With his departure, Omeruo is now a free agent and is reportedly considering offers from Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Omeruo’s journey with Kasimpasa began in 2015 when he joined on loan from Chelsea, returning for another temporary spell in 2017 before sealing a permanent transfer in 2023.

Across his two stints, he made 85 appearances, scoring two goals and providing three assists.

Now, the experienced Nigerian defender could be set for a new challenge in the Middle East as he looks to revive his career.
