A Cape Town mother had the grim task of viewing her 14-year-old daughter’s body at Tygerberg Mortuary on Wednesday after she was shot eight times in a suspected gang-related incident.
Jordan-Leigh Kannemeyer, who was a Grade 8 pupil at Apex High School in Eerste River, was shot dead in Essenwood Street, Forest Village – a few metres from her home – on Sunday night.
