Belgian side KAA Gent are reportedly ready to make Nigerian sensational striker Gift Orban their biggest export in the summer.

Orban’s outstanding display has seen him score 20 goals and register two assists in 20 appearances across all competitions since joining from Norwegian side Stabaek at the end of January for a reported €3.5m.

The goals scoring young Nigerian is the best winter transfer ever from the Buffalos and top European clubs have already shown interest in recruiting him for next season.

The youngster has revealed his intention of playing in the Premier League with Manchester United, Manchester City, or Liverpool, as his preferred clubs.

He already scored three third hat-trick and holds the record for the fastest hat trick ever witnessed in a UEFA club competition after scoring three goals within the space of just 205 seconds against Istanbul Basaksehir in March.

Gent technical director Michel Louwagie wants to achieve the highest transfer price and the club is already working on increasing Orban’s valuation.

“Gift Orban that can bring in the most money, “ Louwagie said as reported by VoetbalNieuws.

Louwagie also is confident Orban can be sold at a higher transfer record and surpass €32m made from Jonathan David’s sale to Lille in 2020.

“His price cannot be very far from it,” he said.

“He still has a contract until 2027, and we didn’t get him at the end of January to sell again in July. We’ve never done that before, but there is always a first time for everything.”
