Frustration is building as an unlawful levy has yet again been charged on LPG supplied into the Western Cape this month, while the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy has remained silent on whether or not its investigation into the matter is progressing.
As was previously reported by News24, Western Cape gas suppliers and consumers have for several months found themselves on the receiving end of an unlawful surcharge levied on LPG brought into the region by a new importer.
