
Isaac Plaatjies at his bail appearance on new facts in the Dimbaza Magistrate’s Court.
The University of Fort Hare’s former head of investigations and vetting, Isaac Plaatjies, claims his phone was hacked several times in the period he is said to have made contact with alleged hitman Thamsanqa Mgwetyana.
He also told the Dimbaza Magistrate’s Court on Friday that he doesn’t know Mgwetyana in person and had never had any dealings with him.
This was part of the information he presented as new facts for a fresh bail application.
