Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi-Samuel seems set for a return to the English Premier League after a Turkish publication,  t24, reported that former Turkish Super Lig champions Fenerbahce were willing to sanction a move for the Nigerian.

Osayi-Samuel has been linked with some English teams, and Fenerbahce would be willing to listen to offers in the range of €10m.

Relegated Leeds United and high-flying Bournemouth are among the two clubs interested in the signing of the 25-year-old.

Compare to the 2021/22 season where he made 31 appearances in the league, the former Queens Park Rangers player under manager, Jorge Jesus, has made 22 appearances this campaign and mostly came on from the bench as he started only 10 of those games.

With Fenerbahce in need of funds for summer transfer target, Mert Müldür, t24 wrote that the Turkish giants were ready to sell Osayi-Samuel tohelp ease their financial burden.

“It has been learned that Fenerbahçe expects €10m of income for Samuel, whom they added to the squad for €500,000 during the 2020-21 season.

“Canary want to use some of the money from this transfer for Mert Müldür. After the TFF announced that it will continue with the 8 + 3 foreign rule next season, Fenerbahçe, which plans to strengthen the rotation of Turkish football players, will take action for the national star.

“Negotiations with Sassuolo are expected to start next week for Mert Müldür, whom Galatasaray is also after.”
