Femi Adebayo’s Jagun Jagun dominates with six wins

Nollywood actor and filmmaker Femi Adebayo’s Netflix Original Yoruba epic, Jagun Jagun, emerged as the biggest winner at the 2024 Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards, held on Sunday night at the Sugar Factory Film Studios, Ilorin, Kwara State.

The film won six prestigious awards, including Best Indigenous Film, Best Actor (Femi Adebayo), Best Production Design, Best Special Effects, Best Costume, and Director of the Year for Bayo Tijani and Tope Adebayo.

Jagun Jagun had been nominated in 12 categories, further cementing its reputation as a standout production in Nollywood.

The 16th edition of the BON Awards was hosted by actress and producer Toyin Abraham and brought together top industry players.

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State also graced the event, presenting the Lifetime Achievement Award to veteran actor Kanayo O. Kanayo.
