Exicom, a well-known company in electric vehicle charging solutions and critical power solutions in India has showcased its newest innovation at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Expo. Excom showcased its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)-enabled EV charging solution called called Harmony Boost. This solution focuses on combining renewable energy with high-power public EV charging. The integrated solution is designed to address the challenges faced by India’s existing EV infrastructure.
The Harmony Boost combines solar energy, grid power, and a battery energy storage system (BESS) with high-power charging dispensers. Exiting claims that it’s capable of delivering up to 400 kW per plug. Developed to meet India’s increasing need for high-capacity EV charging, the system seeks to minimize reliance on grid electricity while optimizing the use of renewable energy sources.
The ability to store and manage both solar and grid power enhances the utilization of renewable energy for EV charging. This latest solution also features IP65-rated liquid-cooled batteries and liquid-cooled power electronics. Exicom says that it is designed to deliver reliability, reduce OEM costs, and improve durability even in demanding environments.
Mr. Anant Nahata, Managing Director Exicom, shared his take on the solution, saying, “Achieving net- zero carbon emissions in transportation is one of the primary concerns globally. Exicom’s Harmony Boost, a BESS-equipped EV charging station not only addresses the requirement of clean energy integration, but also offers effective load balancing, enhanced scalability, cost-savings and a superior charging experience. We hope to continue our meaningful contributions to India’s green mobility revolution and solve imminent and future challenges not only for our customers, but for the larger EV Charging ecosystem in India and across the world.”
