Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson will not be joining Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
Instead, Al Ittihad has finalized a deal for Predrag Rajkovic from Mallorca, securing the goalkeeper for a transfer fee of €11 million.
“Deal off for Ederson to Al Ittihad from Man City, no chances to advance as expected.
“Al Ittihad have just signed all documents for Predrag Rajkovic to join the club as new goalkeeper from Mallorca. Transfer fee: €11m package,” reports Fabrizio Romano on X.
This development comes after Manchester City rejected a bid from another Saudi club, Al Nassr.
Last month, City turned down Al Nassr’s initial £25 million offer for Ederson, seeking a fee exceeding £30 million before considering his departure.
Ederson, who joined Manchester City from Benfica in 2017, has been a key figure in the club’s recent successes.
He has helped secure six Premier League titles, two FA Cups, four Carabao Cups, and a Champions League title.
The Brazilian goalkeeper has made 332 appearances for the club and is under contract until June 2026.
