The family of Jeremiah Geyer, 67, who drowned in the flooded Stoffberg Avenue subway in Brakpan on Monday, is reeling after his death.

Geyer’s car was submerged, and he is believed to have drowned.

When Sean Geyer, who lives in the US, received a message his father had died, his immediate thought was his dad had suffered a heart attack.
