All travellers planning to leave or exit the country for the festive period are warned to ensure all travelling documentation is in order to avoid any unnecessary delay at the ports of entry, as the Border Management Authority (BMA) prepares to extend its operating hours.

At a media briefing in Pretoria, Commissioner of the Border Management Authority Michael Masiapato said that during the festive period, the South African border environment experienced a significant increase in the movement of persons and goods across the various ports of entry and border law enforcement areas.
