If you are considering purchasing a Triumph motorcycle then now is the perfect time to make the move. The manufacturer has revised the price of its Speed T4 motorcycle, making the Rs 1.99 lakh, ex-showroom, sticker tag a permanent fixture. This means that with a Rs 18,000 reduction from its original launch price of Rs 2.17 lakh, this is the most affordable Triumph motorcycle ever.
Triumph Speed T4: All you need to know
The Speed T4 is essentially a cost-effective alternative to the Speed 400, which is priced at Rs 2.40 lakh, ex-showroom. While the T4 shares its platform with the Speed 400, it comes with fewer features to maintain a more budget-friendly price point. The bike is powered by a 398.15cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 31 hp and 36 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
To keep costs in check, the Speed T4 comes with a conventional telescopic fork instead of the Speed 400’s USD setup. The bike also features a slipper clutch, dual-channel ABS, and an analogue speedometer with an integrated LCD screen. Besides that, the electronics package from the Speed 400 has also been shrunk as traction control and ride-by-wire throttle have been omitted. The Speed T4 continues to be available in three colour options: Pearl Metallic White, Cocktail Wine Red, and Phantom Black.
