One of Chelsea’s defenders, Axel Disasi could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge to join another Premier League club following the criticism he has received in the past few weeks.
Transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news in an exclusive tweet on his official X account on Monday, January 27, 2025. According to him, the French defender has agreed personal terms with Aston Villa but the move is now dependent on both parties.
He said,
“Axel Disasi has agreed on personal terms with Aston Villa. Disasi wants to join Villa despite interest from more clubs around Europe after direct talk with Unai Emery, crucial to get the green light. Deal now up to Chelsea and Villa to reach full agreement.”

Villa are looking to bring in Disasi as they are looking for a new centre-back after what looked pretty serious injury suffered by Tyrone Mings in the game against West Ham on Sunday, January 26, 2025.
This will give hope to Josh Acheampong who can become a regular option, having impressed in his two Premier League starts so far.
