Apple has not yet responded to the City of Cape Town’s request for a meeting over safety on it’s mapping platform.
Cape Town Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis said that the City had reached out to Apple with a request to meet and discuss the avoidance of routes through certain crime hotspots in the city on the tech giants mapping platform, but has received no response as yet.
