The ANC doesn’t own uMkhonto weSizwe, and any belief that it does is an “invention” by the party’s secretary-general, Fikile Mbalula.

This is according to the uMkhonto weSizwe Party’s (MKP) founder, Jabulani Sibongiseni Khumalo.

In an affidavit, Khumalo differed with the ANC’s claim to the uMkhonto weSizwe brand.
