“I am very happy and relieved that he will stay in jail.”

These were the words of an emotional Carol Terblanche after Freddie Stapelberg, 34 – who is accused of orchestrating the killings of her daughter, Nadine Terblanche, 32, and Nadine’s son, Ruandré Vorster, nine – was denied bail on Wednesday.

Addressing the media outside the Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court in Johannesburg, Terblanche welcomed the court’s decision.
