Agbor Technical College showcased a day filled with athleticism and camaraderie as it hosted its 19th Inter-House Sports Competition on March 14, 2024. The event, held at the school’s expansive open field, saw enthusiastic participation from five vibrant houses: Green, White, Yellow, Blue, and Red.
In a display of exceptional skill and teamwork, Yellow House emerged as the overall champion, clinching victory amidst stiff competition from their fellow houses. The jubilant members of Yellow House celebrated their hard-earned triumph, embodying the spirit of sportsmanship and dedication.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of several dignitaries, including Honourable Chukwuyem Okoh (Chuky Dandy), Reverend Edgar Onyebuchi (President, Christian Association of Nigeria, Ika South L.G.A.), Chief Dr. Ikpon (Omoghor Dein of Agbor Kingdom), Mrs. Ogwu U., Honourable Donald Peterson Onyibe, Engineer Henry Ebomah, Honourable Mrs. Gloria Aboh (Councillor, Ika South L.G.A.), Mr. Joe Morgan (the Eze Egwu of Agbor Kingdom), Mr. Monday Emenim, Honourable Godstime Iyeke, Mr. Christian Amufah, Sir Clifford Isibor, Mr. Emmanuel O. Efewengbe, Dr. Ike Okwudi, Honourable Kingsley Beye, and Dr. Amahi F.
Mrs. Hadome R., the Principal of Agbor Technical College, delivered an appreciation speech, expressing gratitude to all participants, spectators, and supporters for their invaluable contributions towards making the event a resounding success. She commended the students for their exemplary sportsmanship and commitment to excellence.
Furthermore, Mrs. P. Olueh, the Chairperson of the Sport Committee, extended heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in organizing and executing the event seamlessly. Their dedication and hard work ensured the smooth conduct of the competition, fostering an atmosphere of unity and cooperation.
