Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the 2023 Mandela Washington Fellowship Summit. Volunteers will ensure a seamless and successful event and assist in accommodating our Fellows as they meet in Washington D.C.
Priority Assignments Include:
- Fellow Arrivals and Departures (hotel and airport support).
- Help Desk & Registration Support
- Support for Fellows with Disabilities.
- Support during sessions (room set-up, time keeping, ushering, etc.).
The Fellowship will provide:
- One-of-a-kind networking opportunities with Young African Leaders and U.S. Government Agencies;
- Meals at the Summit;
- A small stipend to offset the cost of meals not covered during the Summit and local travel;
- An opportunity to take a professional headshot with the onsite photographer;
- A certificate of participation.
