That night when the shadows don’t play
And when the water
who knows how breaks the rocks
And when everything that was once important no longer is
And when some rough hands wake you up from your sleep
That night when the angels come for me
To put me back in white diapers again
And when you sit on another’s lap with untied hair
I won’t do anything against you even then
I won’t, no matter what.
