Real Madrid has released an official statement concerning the future of Eden Hazard at the club going into next season ( 2023/24).
Real Madrid confirmed that the Belgian international will no longer be a player of the club on its official website as of the end of June 2023. Hazard has failed to hit the ground running since he made his mega move to La Liga from Chelsea during the 2018 summer transfer window.
The former Chelsea player has tried his best in the past to break into Real Madrid’s first team under Carlo Ancelotti. The player had earlier said in an interview that the head coach does not speak to him anymore but he has always insisted that he wants to fight for his spot in the team.
Hazard won 8 titles: 1 European Cup, 1 Club World Cup, 1 European Super Cup, 2 La Liga titles, 1 Copa del Rey, and 2 Spanish Super Cups during the four years that he spent at the club.
