Shammah Model School, Agbor Obi, Delta State, Nigeria has marked the 9th graduation ceremony in grand style leaving parents, friends, and passersby in amazement.
Thursday, July 20, 2023, will remain memorable in the annals of the pupils and students of the school. The ceremony which was anchored by Mrs Jonathan was held at the school premises at Orikeze Street, Agbor Obi, Delta State. The event was witnessed by parents/guardians, among others.
Speaking with one of our media correspondents, the school head, Mrs. Chukwuyem Ifeoma encouraged the pupils/students to remain good ambassadors of the school. In her words,
“They should keep up with their studies and never to forget the moral values which the school has inculcated in them”. She further pleaded with the parents and guardians never to relent in their financial and moral support of the students as it will go along way in the realization of the children’s dream.
Some of the activities that iced the cake of the event were the parents water game, drama, poetry presentation, choreography, costumes display, news presentation, cultural display, award presentation etc.
The proprietress in her remark harps on the need for parents to be committed to the academic attainment of their children while stressing that there is gain in education which apparently contrast the trending idea of “education is scam”. She is optimistic about the school’s level of preparedness towards impacting the right knowledge on the pupils/students and therefore urged all and sundry to take advantage of the 2023/2024 admission window.
