The ruling All Progressives Congress has officially announced meetings of its National Caucus and National Executive Committee, scheduled to be held on February 25 and 26, 2025, respectively.
These high-level gatherings are set to take place at the Presidential Villa and the party’s National Secretariat.
This is according to an official notice signed by the APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, shared on the party website on Friday.
The National Caucus meeting will convene on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 6:00 PM in the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
This exclusive gathering will bring together key stakeholders, including past and present Presidents, Vice Presidents, Governors, National Assembly leaders, and top party officials.
“All members of the National Caucus are by this invitation to TAKE NOTICE of the meeting in accordance with article 12.5 of the APC Constitution scheduled to hold as follows,” it read.
In the twin announcement, the National Executive Committee meeting is slated for Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the APC National Secretariat, 40 Blantyre Street, Wuse II, Abuja.
The NEC, which is one of the highest decision-making bodies of the party, is expected to discuss party policies, upcoming elections, and strategies for national governance.
“All members of the National Executive Committee (NEC) are by this invitation to TAKE NOTICE of the meeting in accordance with article 12.5 of the APC Constitution scheduled to hold as follows,” it read.
The meetings will feature a high-powered attendance list, including the National Chairman, Deputy National Chairmen (North and South), National Secretary, National Legal Adviser, National Treasurer, Organising Secretary, Woman Leader, Youth Leader, and representatives from each geopolitical zone.
Also expected are past and serving members of the National Assembly, state governors, and other critical figures in the party’s hierarchy.
