Lazio sporting director, Angelo Fabiani, has insisted Nigerian midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru is not for sale amid interest from Serie A giants Juventus, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

According to La Repubblica via Goal, Juventus have reportedly conducted preliminary inquiries about the 23-year-old who has been dazzling in the Italian topflight.

Speaking on recent transfer speculation, Fabiani said the club was not eager to part with their talented midfielder.

“We were asked for Rovella, Dele-Bashiru, Nuno Tavares, Castellanos. Many are attractive on the market. We don’t have to dismantle the team, but complete it.”

Dele-Bashiru’s impact since joining Lazio in the summer has been profound. His dynamic performances, highlighted by two goals and two assists in four Europa League matches, have firmly established him as one of the club’s standout players.

In Serie A, the former Manchester City academy player has contributed two vital goals, including one in a crucial 1-1 draw against Atalanta.

Following a standout season in Turkey with Hatayspor, where his eight goals helped the club avoid relegation, the midfielder moved to Lazio on a €2m loan deal with an obligation to buy.

His seamless adaptation to Italian football has only heightened his appeal, with interest from across Europe now intensifying.
