Recall that within two days of the film’s release, Wives on Strike 3 earned ₦10 million in voucher sales. The voucher system was introduced ahead of the film’s release to enable viewers to purchase tickets before showtime.
Currently showing in cinemas, The Uprising is a satire that follows a female local government who gets entangled in a web of turmoil as she confronts the challenges that come with her newfound authority and her personal life.
