Pune-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer iVOOMi has launched the S1 Lite, priced at Rs 84,999, ex-showroom. The manufacturer is offering a three-year battery warranty with this scooter. Bookings are open across dealerships in key regions such as Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Rajasthan.
iVoomi S1 Lite: Battery and range
The S1 Lite’s heart is a 60V 52 Ah Li-ion battery that comes with a claimed range of up to 180 km on a single charge.Propelling the scooter forward is a motor that is rated for 1.2 kW of power and 10.1 Nm of peak torque. The top speed of the S1 Lite is governed at 53 kmph.
Besides that, the scooter gets telescopic forks in front and a spring coil unit at rear. Stopping power comes from front disc, rear drum braking setup while it takes around 4 hours to fully juice the battery up. As for practicality, the scooter gets an underseat storage of 18 litres and a carrying capacity of up to 150 kg. Customers can choose from two wheel options – 10-inch and 12-inch based on preferences.

In terms of features, the scooter boasts an LED display – which, with an optional Rs 4,999 upgrade, will get additional features such as DTE indicator, smartphone connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation and SMS/call alerts. It also gets a USB charging port to charge your smartphone on the go. Besides these changes and enhancements, the scooter continues to be the same as its existing siblings.
