Revolt RV1 e-bike launched at Rs 84,990: Runs at just 5% the cost of petrol bikes

Revolt Motors has expanded its lineup with the launch of the Revolt RV1, an electric commuter motorcycle. The motorcycle will be available in two variants – RV1 and RV1+, priced at Rs 84,990 and Rs 99,990. Both prices are ex-showroom. The manufacturer says that this model offers riders up to 95 percent savings in running costs compared to petrol motorcycles.Both models come in four vibrant colour options. Bookings for the model have already commenced at a nominal token amount of Rs 499 with deliveries slated to commence soon.
The RV1 comes with a payload capacity of 250 kg, exceeding the 150 kg standard for commuter bikes. It also features wider tyres, dual disc brakes and more. The bike also comes equipped with multiple speed modes. Other highlights include a reverse mode, a 6-inch LCD display, LED headlight, built-in charger and a portable battery.

Revolt RV1, RV1+: Battery and range

The RV1 offers two battery options: a 2.2 kWh battery providing a range of up to 100 km, and a larger 3.24 kWh battery extending the range to 160 km. Both the variants come with a top speed governed at 75 kmph – which is ideal for city commutes. Besides that, the RV1+ variant also gets fast-charging technology, fully recharging in just 1.5 hours.
In addition to the RV1, the manufacturer has upgraded the RV400 model, now featuring a 160 km range, a faster charger, and an enhanced digital display. The RV400 also comes in a new Lunar Green colour.
