As the anticipation for the Afrobeats superstar intensifies, a new snippet has surfaced.
Nigerian ace singer, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has teased a new snippet from his forthcoming album, Morayo.
The singer, whose last studio album More Love, Less Ego (2022) didn’t quite meet expectations, is now gearing up to release his sixth studio project. With recent high-profile features, including a 2024 appearance on Bob Marley’s One Love album and DJ Tunez’s Apala Disco remix, which has become a fan favourite, Big Wiz is poised to deliver yet another masterpiece for his global fanbase.
Morayo, which Wizkid has teased multiple times, is particularly special as it serves as a tribute to his late mother, whom he lost in 2023. As the anticipation for the album builds, the Starboy Entertainment frontrunner heightened excitement on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, by dropping a snippet of a song from the project which is expected (the song) to be released in few days.

The feel-good R&B track, titled Piece of My Heart, features American soulful singer-songwriter Brent Faiyaz. Fans have already embraced the snippet as an exciting preview of what’s to come with the Morayo album.
